Adult programs at the OSMPL create opportunities for learning, creativity, and connection across our community. Guided by our 2026–2028 Strategic Plan, we offer experiences that support digital confidence, personal growth, and community well‑being—whether through hands‑on workshops, author talks, technology help, or spaces to explore new skills. Our programs reflect the interests and strengths of Otonabee–South Monaghan, bringing neighbours together in welcoming, inclusive environments where curiosity thrives.
All of our programs require registration to participate. Should a program not receive the minimum amount of participants to run, we will contact all registrants to let them know it has been cancelled.
If you need help registering or to cancel your registration, please let a staff member know by email, phone or in person. Phone: 705-295-6814 Email: info@osmpl.ca
If you’ve been looking for a cosy way to unwind and connect with fellow book lovers, look no further! Bring your current read, settle into a comfy spot, and savour a peaceful reading time in good company with some conversation sprinkled in. Location rotates between our three branches. Tea & Coffee provided. Please note, except holiday weekends.
Love to read, but want the freedom to choose your own book? Join our Themed Book Club! Each month we pick a theme, and everyone chooses a different book that fits. At our meet-up, we share what we read, discover new authors, and explore big ideas together. It’s a great way to connect with your fellow readers while keeping your own reading style.
OSMPL is pleased to host Senior Helpers for a free educational presentation on senior care planning and support. Attendees will gain practical information on aging in place, caregiving challenges, and local support resources in a welcoming and informative environment.
